Kelly Newman was presented the 2006 Susan Ferguson Memorial Scholarship of
$500 by Charles Ferguson at the Snow College Richfield LPN Graduation
program on April 28th. Kelly will be completing her prerequisite classwork
prior to entering a Registered Nurse program. Many students submitted some
very impressive applications for the scholarship, but Kelly's application
and recommendations stood out. Kelly has obviously demonstrated a
knowledge, skill level, and understanding of the nurse's role, and a spirit
of caring reflective of that demonstrated for so many years by our Susan
Ferguson.It was an honor to be able
to help Kelly Newman in a small way to continue her progress towards
reaching her goals as a nurse.
